Barry Holmes Resigns

Head physiotherapist Barry Holmes has resigned after choosing to concentrate on his own practice.

Holmes joined the Alex from Wolverhampton Wonderers in February 2008, in a triangular movement which saw former Crewe head physio Matt Radcliffe move to Preston, and the then Preston physio move to Wolves.

Crewe manager Gudjon Thordarson has been critical of some of the backroom staff recently so the resignation comes as no real surprise.

The future of fellow physio Steve Walker remains in the balance and assistant manager Baker looks to be moving on over the summer months as Gudjon carries on reshaping the club to his liking.
