Another Off The Production Line

Dario Gradi’s ability to produce talented youngsters is second to non, and following his first goal for Crewe it seems like Gary Roberts is going to be the latest.

The 18 year old is fresh off the production line at Crewe, and the England under 19 international is making a good name for himself alongside fellow youngster Billy Jones in the middle of midfield for Crewe, and Gradi is more than happy for him to continue moving forward in search of match winners.

‘I think Gary has goals in him, they play him in more of a holding role for England but we think he would be wasted there. We want Billy and Gary to get forward and get into the box.’
