Alex Youngsters Make International Appearances

There was plenty of action for the young Crewe Alex players Eli King, Zac Williams, Max Woodcock and Matus Holicek during this international break, representing their respective nations Wales, Scotland and Slovakia at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 levels.

King would add to the 5 Wales Under-21 caps that he previously won as a used sub in their 2-0 defeat against Austria in Vienna this evening.

Williams would add to the 2 Wales Under-19 caps that he previously won as he would captain them in their 0-0 draw against Hungary last Wednesday, the same (and getting a booking) in their 2-0 defeat against the Republic of Ireland on Saturday and playing the final 30 mins and scoring their 9-2 win against Gibraltar this evening.

Woodcock would make his first appearances for Scotland’s Under-18s, playing the first 79 mins and was booked in their 1-0 defeat against Poland last Wednesday, came on as a used sub in their 5-1 defeat against France on Friday as well as playing and scoring their 4-1 win against Estonia on Sunday.

Holicek would make his first appearances for Slovakia’s Under-18s (links in Slovakian), playing the full game in their 1-0 win against USA last Wednesday, playing the final 20 mins in their 1-1 draw against Mexico on Friday and the first 69 mins in their 3-1 defeat against Finland on Sunday.
