Second half goals from Regan Griffiths, captain Joe Lynch and substitute Challis Johnson adding to Luke Walsh’s first-half effort ensured that the young Railwaymen advanced to the 3rd Round of the FA Youth Cup at Evesham United last night.

The opening goal of the game came on 29 minutes with Walsh turning the ball into the goal following a goal-mouth scramble before Griffiths added the second 20 minutes after the break following a nice passing move.

It became 3-0 with 15 minutes to play after Lynch finished well before Johnson added a forth 5 minutes later drilling home from just inside the box.

Crewe will travel to Colchester United in the next round (to be played by 16th December) with news of the date and ticket prices to be announced in the coming days.
