Crewe Alexandra are still waiting on their offer of a deal to former Northampton Town midfielder Abdul Osman.

The 25-year-old has already appeared in a couple of pre-season friendlies for Alex following his release from Greek side Kerkyra.

He will not though be featuring in their latest run-out at Nantwich Town this afternoon.

“He won’t be playing in any more games for us unless he signs,” manager Steve Davis told This is Staffordshire. “We have made him an offer and no doubt other people have as well. He will do what all players do now and decide what he thinks is the best deal for him.”
