Mathias Pogba and Byron Moore were again on the mark in a 2-0 win at Bashley as Crewe Alexandra made it five straight pre-season victories.

But it required goalkeeper Alan Martin to make a decent save just before the break after the visitors had missed earlier opportunities.

Striker AJ Leitch-Smith then delivered for Moore to open the scoring early in the second-half.

However, it took until the 64th minute until the game was effectively settled as Pogba maintained his recent goal-a-game record with his fourth since arriving from Wrexham earlier this month.
