Crewe Alexandra travel to Oldham Athletic this weekend needing to improve on a record that has brought them just one victory from their opening seven games.

Manager Steve Davis has already indicated he could make changes and give opportunities to some of his fringe players following the 3-0 home defeat to Walsall last week.
Teenager Ryan Colclough is back in contention after a combination of a hip injury and chest infection, while striker Max Clayton could return following five goals in the last two reserve games.
Full-back Kelvin Mellor was also expected to earn a recall in defence due to the unfortunate Gregor Robertson’s knee injury.
“We have started again and gone back to basics and getting that right,” Davis told Crewe’s official website. “It could be time for some of the younger ones to step up and make their mark in the game. They have had to be patient but we will see if they have what it takes to be successful in this division.”
The Latics are currently missing the suspended David Mellor but are hopeful that defender James Tarkowski recovers from an ankle injury.
