Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis is considering bringing in an unnamed Premier League striker on loan to add even more competition in attack.

“We have agreed with a Premier League club to take one of their strikers” – Steve Davis

Davis could even wrap-up a deal ahead of the visit to Scunthorpe United tomorrow evening.

The player concerned is said to be keen to come to the Alex but has received other offers from elsewhere. Talks have already been held with his agent.

“We have agreed with a Premier League club to take one of their strikers,” Davis told Crewe’s official website. “It would be an six-month loan and he is a talented boy, who is quick and scores goals.”
