Crewe Alexandra have been drawn at home against Dagenham & Redbridge in this season’s FA Cup 1st Round draw this evening, the Daggers sitting in 13th in the National League.
The Alex have played against Dagenham just the four times overall, in the league during the 09/10 and 11/12 seasons, with the Daggers winning the first three meetings with the Alex winning 4-1 in the most recent meeting in January 2012 thanks to goals from Greg Pearson, Abu Ogogo’s own goal, Adam Dugdale and Nick Powell.
The game will be played across the opening weekend of November.
