Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis could make a couple of changes for the midweek Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie with Bradford City.

“I may look to make one or two changes for the Bradford game” – Steve Davis

The Alex chief wants to give additional players a chance to stake their own claim following the weekend 1-1 draw at Leyton Orient.

But he insisted that he would still be taking the competition very seriously and fielding a strong-line up against the Capital One Cup giant-killers.

“I may look to make one or two changes for the Bradford game tomorrow night,” Davis confirmed to Crewe’s official website. “I won’t be making a lot and won`t be making changes for changes sake.

“We didn’t do so well in the first half at Leyton Orient, so we could look at some others and give them the opportunity,” he added.
