Lundstram, Sass-Davies and Offord Pen New Deals

|

Crewe Alexandra have confirmed that defenders Billy Sass-Davies and Luke Offord, as well as midfielder Josh Lundstram, have all signed new contracts with the club as their previous deals were all set to expire this summer. Both defenders have signed 2-year deals while Lundstram has signed a 12-month deal with the option of a second year.

Centre-half Sass-Davies has spent time over the past 18 months at Colwyn Bay, FC United of Manchester and Altrincham before making his league debut in Good Friday’s victory over Yeovil Town.

Versatile defender Offord has yet to make his senior debut despite appearing on the bench a couple of times this season but has played well in a loan spell with Witton Albion at the end of this season.

Midfielder Lundstram has also yet to make a senior appearance with the Alex but has made appearances for Sandbach United, Newcastle Town and Nuneaton Borough in the last 18 months.

What does this mean for next season for these 3 players?

It’s good to see all 3 have been signed up to new deals. Sass-Davies didn’t look out of place playing in the first-team against Yeovil and was alright in the final game of the season on Saturday while Offord has gained good praise on Twitter in particular from Witton fans after his loan spell there.

All 3 will be regulars in Alex Morris’ Under-23 squad and either pushing towards the first team picture or will spend more time out on loan during next season.
