This Monday’s Academy Alumni round-up starts in the Premier League with Ashley Westwood playing the full game for Burnley in their 2-0 home defeat against Manchester United yesterday.

Onto the Championship where Luke Murphy was not involved for Bolton Wanderers in their 2-2 home draw against Preston North End.

Cheyenne Dunkley played the full game and Nick Powell played the opening hour in Wigan’s 1-0 win at home to Rotherham whilst Billy Jones was not involved for the visitors.

League 1 action saw Liam Nolan not involved for Accrington Stanley in their 1-1 home draw with Scunthorpe United whilst Ryan Colclough played the second-half for the visitors.

Junior Brown was an unused substitute for Coventry City in their 1-0 home defeat against Rochdale.

Kelvin Mellor played the full game for Bradford City in their 2-1 defeat at Fleetwood Town.

George Cooper was an unused substitute in Peterborough United’s 1-1 draw at home to Doncaster Rovers.

Portsmouth’s Gareth Evans played the full game in a 3-0 victory at home to Plymouth Argyle.

Oliver Turton played the full game for Blackpool in their 0-0 draw at Walsall whilst Max Clayton was not involved for the visitors.

Finally into League 2 where Byron Moore was an unused substitute in Bury’s 3-2 win at home to Morecambe whilst Jason Oswell played the first 69 minutes for the visitors and AJ Leitch-Smith was not involved.

Ben Garratt, Perry Ng, George Ray, Callum Ainley (first 70 mins), James Jones, Ryan Wintle, Charlie Kirk and Shaun Miller all started for Crewe Alexandra in their 3-0 home win against Macclesfield Town whilst both Tom Lowery and Lewis Reilly were unused substitute for the Alex.

Michael O’Connor played 89 minutes for Lincoln City in their 3-0 victory at Exeter City.

Harry Davis played the first 81 minutes in Grimsby Town’s 1-0 defeat at home to Yeovil Town.

Northampton Town’s Billy Waters played the final 23 minutes in their 1-1 draw at home to Tranmere Rovers whilst Ritchie Sutton was not involved for the visitors.

David Vaughan played the full game and was booked for Notts County in their 3-1 home defeat to Forest Green Rovers whilst Matt Tootle was not involved.

Will Appleyard was not involved for Stevenage in their 1-0 home defeat to Cambridge United.
