The fifth round of games took place over the Bank Holiday weekend and contains a bonus player compared to the usual suspects.

Starting as always in the Premier League where Ashley Westwood played the full 90 minutes for Burnley in their 4-2 defeat at Fulham.

The Championship saw Luke Murphy play the first 62 minutes in Bolton Wanderers’ 3-0 home defeat against Sheffield United.

Both Cheyenne Dunkley and Nick Powell played the full game for Wigan Athletic in their 1-0 defeat at Queens Park Rangers.

Whilst Billy Jones was not involved for Rotherham United in their 1-0 win at Millwall on Sunday.

Onto League 1 where Liam Nolan made his first appearance for Accrington Stanley this season as he came on for the final 5 minutes in their 1-1 draw at Blackpool. Oliver Turton played the full game for the hosts whilst Max Clayton was not involved for the Tangerines.

Kelvin Mellor was an unused substitute in Bradford City’s 2-1 home defeat against Wycombe Wanderers.

Gareth Evans played the full 90 minutes in Portsmouth’s 0-0 draw at Doncaster Rovers.

Coventry City’s Junior Brown was an unused substitute in their 1-1 draw at Gillingham.

George Cooper was also an unused substitute for Peterborough United in their 5-1 victory at Plymouth Argyle.

Into League 2 where Ben Garratt, Perry Ng (booked), Callum Ainley, Ryan Wintle and Shaun Miller played the full 90 minutes for Crewe in their 1-0 defeat at Carlisle United whilst Charlie Kirk (first 80 minutes) and James Jones (last 31 minutes) also featured. Both Tom Lowery and Lewis Reilly were unused substitutes.

Billy Waters came on for the final 17 minutes in Northampton Town’s 2-1 victory at Colchester United.

Byron Moore was an unused substitute in Bury’s 3-2 defeat away at Crawley Town.

Michael O’Connor played the first 69 minutes before being replaced in Lincoln City’s 3-1 home victory against Notts County with Matt Tootle (first 40 mins) and David Vaughan (final 29 mins) involved for the visitors.

AJ Leitch-Smith played the full game with Jason Oswell playing the first 72 minutes for Morecambe in their 2-0 home defeat against Oldham Athletic.

Harry Davis played the full game for Grimsby Town in their 1-0 defeat at Newport County.

Ritchie Sutton was not involved for Tranmere Rovers in their 2-1 home win against Port Vale.

Will Appleyard was not involved for Stevenage in their 2-0 defeat at Yeovil Town.

Finally, congratulations to Callum Saunders for scoring a hat-trick for Nantwich Town in their 5-2 victory at home to Lancaster City in the Northern Premier League.
