As reported on the official site this morning, Crewe Alexandra have offered professional deals to 3 of their second year scholars whilst 6 more will not be offered pro deals. They join Owen Dale and Harry Pickering, who made his first team debut this afternoon, to be offered deals.

Defender Ross Woodcock, a full-back who can play either side, has represented Scotland at Under-19 level this season and has been on loan at Alsager Town in the North West Counties League First Division.

Midfielder Josh Lundstram, a central midfielder, has been out on loan at Sandbach United as they confirmed their play-off place in the same league this afternoon.

Striker Lewis Reilly is the final player who has been out on loan at Radcliffe Borough where he has made 18 appearances, scoring 10 goals, and represented the club in the Lancashire Challenge Trophy final earlier in the month and has also worn the captain’s armband on occasion.

All 3 have also been regulars for Alex Morris‘ Under-23 side that has finished just outside the play-offs in the Northern section of the U23 Professional Development League 2 and with Kenny Lunt and Lee Bell‘s Under-18 side during the first half of the season.

Goalkeepers Jake Hilton and Scott Wardley are amongst the 6 players that have not been offered deals with defenders TJ Culpepper and Jamie Wilkinson as well as forwards Luke Walley and Morgan Jones the other players that will not become professionals with the club at this time.
