Crewe Alexandra have announced that they are hosting West Bromwich Albion and Rotherham United during this summer’s pre-season friendlies that will also see a number of trips to non-league sides at various levels of the English pyramid.
West Brom, who finished 10th in the Championship in the season that’s just finished, will travel to the Alexandra Stadium on Saturday 16th July while Rotherham, who will join them in the second tier after finishing 2nd in League 1, will travel the following Saturday.
The Alex’s pre-season starts with trips to Nantwich Town, Macclesfield FC and Kidsgrove Athletic during the first week of July before travelling to Barnsley’s training ground and Halesowen Town in the second week.
