Crewe Alexandra have announced their retained list following the end of the season this evening.
Academy Alumni duo captain George Ray and Ben Garratt are the most high-profile players that have been released by the club while the other players that will definitely be leaving the club are defender Michael Raynes, midfielder Joe Lynch and striker Alex Nicholls as their deals have expired with the club while loanee Aaron Taylor-Sinclair returns to Motherwell after his loan spell expires.
Goalkeeper Dave Richards had an option in his previous deal that has been activated whilst Jordan Bowery, Regan Griffiths, Ollie Finney, Josh Lundstram, Travis Johnson, Billy Sass-Davies and Luke Offord have all been offered new deals and both Rio Adebisi and Connor Heath have been offered their first professional deals.
